Critically acclaimed as "one of the most remarkable representatives of Argentine music", Dario is a virtuoso guitarist and composer from Argentina, now based in NYC. Growing up in a musical family immersed in folk traditions, Dario’s work reflects a unique fusion of roots-jazz, combining Argentina’s diverse sonic landscapes with traditional rhythms, improvisation, and contemporary composition.
With seven albums to his name, he has received praise from outlets like NPR, Argentina’s La Gaceta, and WFUV folk radio icon John Platt. His latest LP, Tierra Infinita, is a tribute to the evolving legacy of Argentine folk music, featuring collaborations with renowned artists such as Colombian vocalist Marta Gomez and Pipi Piazzolla, grandson of the legendary Astor Piazzolla.
